After our first six months of running the platform, we saw that customers needed more control over the shape of their resources without giving up the simplicity of a predictable plan.
That is what these changes are designed to provide. Start small, choose the resources your application needs, and scale them as your workload grows. Every plan also includes AI usage and platform capacity for the agentic workflows that help teams build and ship faster.
What we learned in our first six months#
The right amount of CPU and memory is different for every application. A prototype might need only a small application service. A production application might need a different balance as it grows.
A fixed service size makes those decisions harder than they need to be. It can leave resources stranded in one application service while another needs more capacity. It can also force a team to move to a larger plan before it actually needs everything that plan includes.
So we changed the model. Each plan includes a resource pool that you can split across application services. You decide how much CPU and memory each application service receives. Databases and builds keep their own supported resource configuration. When your application needs more, fixed-price add-on units let you expand the pool without changing plans. When you need less, you can scale back.
We also added metrics so you can see exactly what your application needs. That makes it easier to choose a practical resource configuration instead of guessing.
The result is a better fit for real workloads: a low barrier to entry, room to grow, and no bill that changes because your application had a busy afternoon.

Annual billing reduces the base plan price by 10%. The annual monthly prices above show that discount. Resource add-ons remain fixed-price monthly units.
Choose your resource shape#
Your plan’s CPU and memory are pools for the organization. You can distribute them across services instead of paying for a rigid bundle attached to one service.
Need more capacity? Add:
- 0.25 vCPU for €2.25 per month on Pluto, €2.10 on Mercury, or €2 on Earth.
- 256 MiB memory for €0.75 per month on Pluto, €0.60 on Mercury, or €0.50 on Earth.
You choose the quantity, see the new monthly total before committing, and can change it whenever your needs change. There is no automatic resource charge to discover later. You make the scaling decision and know the price ahead of time. As your resource needs grow, moving to a larger plan can lower the price per unit, and add-on unit prices are lower on higher plans.
This makes it easier to tune each application service for its actual job. Keep smaller services lean and give demanding application services the capacity they need. Metrics show how your application is using its resources, so you can adjust based on evidence instead of guessing.
AI usage is included for agentic workflows#
✨ Every plan includes an AI allowance alongside its resource pool. That matters when your team uses Rock8Cloud for more than hosting an application.
Your coding agents can write changes in sandboxes, review pull requests, read build and runtime logs, and run custom automations like changelogs. More intensive agentic workflows naturally create more AI activity and more sandbox work. The plan should reflect that value instead of treating each useful iteration as a separate surprise charge.
Pluto includes €2 of AI usage, Mercury includes €5, and Earth includes €20. Enterprise plans are customized around your organization’s needs. AI usage is visible in the platform, and usage beyond the included allowance is metered and tracked under the budget controls you set. You can also add budget when your workflow needs more.
The resource pool supports the work around those AI workflows. CPU and memory can be assigned to the services and sandboxes that need them, while the included AI allowance helps cover the platform’s AI features. Together, that makes each plan a practical starting point for agent-driven development, not just a place to run the finished application.
Predictable bills, with room to grow#
Predictability does not mean pretending every workload is identical. It means making the choices visible.
Your base plan has one clear monthly price. Your CPU and memory pools are visible. Add-ons have fixed monthly prices. AI usage has a visible allowance, live tracking, and a budget cap. You can see what you are choosing before you scale up.

Earth is shaped for growing teams in production. Enterprise is available when an organization needs custom limits and dedicated support.
